Since the beginning in 1972, the Gallant family has cherished the dream of operating a sugar factory. Built from trees that fell during the 1998 ice storm, they built a log cabin in the center of a vast maple grove on the south side of Mount Rigaud. This sector benefits from a microclimate very favorable to the production of syrup. Our maple products are available 12 months a year, directly at the Inn. Since the beginning in 1972, the Gallant family has cherished the dream of operating a sugar factory. Built from trees that fell during the 1998 ice storm, they built a log cabin in the center of a vast maple grove on the south side of Mount Rigaud. This sector benefits from a microclimate very favorable to the production of syrup. Our maple products are available 12 months a year, directly at the Inn. From March to April, the sugar house is a popular place to enjoy a hearty maple meal and appreciate all our different maple products.<\/p>\n
